When did you first start training at Rebel Strength and Fitness? About 5 months ago.
What is your athletic background? Swimming, volleyball, boxing, MMA and CrossFit
Favorite movement: clean and jerks.
Lease favorite movement: does running count? J The most challenging would be box jumps and double unders.
Workout time: I work out whenever it fits my schedule, 5-6 times a week.
How has training at Rebel Strength and Fitness impacted your life?
Prior to rebel I was healing from a back injury. I felt down, depressed and I thought I would never get back to weightlifting. Little did I know in 5 short months I would be surpassing my max weightlifts!
Hobbies: Working out, spending time with my dogs and family.
What advice do you have for people just getting started? Consistency is key. Come to class each day, do your best and you will see results but stay humble and have fun!
Biggest fitness accomplishment this far: Anytime I compete. Whether it is CrossFit, jiu-jitsu or 5k’s, competitions give you a sense of pride but also goals to continue to work towards!
Future fitness goals: To compete more, encourage other people on their fitness journeys and keep improving my PR’s.
Future personal goals: Currently I’m working on my BSN-RN and Bachelors of Business Administration.
What is something we don’t know about you? In my spare time I help teach self-defense classes.
Best workout song or music: Rap and Hip-Hop for my workouts and country music to cool down.
Go to junk food: I love fig newtons!
Favorite movie or TV show: I don’t watch much TV but one of my favorite movies is Primal fear.
