When did you first start training at Rebel Strength and Fitness? June 2018

What is your athletic background? Have always been athletic since a young age.  Played softball with Wendy and Sandy before having my daughter.

Lease favorite movement: jump rope

Workout time: Usually evenings and Saturday mornings but come in when I can

How has training at Rebel Strength and Fitness impacted your life?
In February I suffered a leg injury which left me on crutches for a month.  I didn’t think I would be able to work out and had a big pity party and gained weight.  I got the all clear to work out after 3 months but was shaken and lost all my confidence.  I was determined not to give up and after my first week at Rebel I felt at home.  I was upset I had to modify some things but so thankful and grateful that Steph, Michelle, Matt and Brian were there to help and remind me to take it slow so I don’t reinjure myself.  I enlisted the help of Megan to help me retrain and refocus my brain on nutrition and eating so that I have the energy, knowledge and ability to fuel my body to hit my fitness goals.  I can see everything coming together now.  I am so excited for all the changes coming in the next couple months and so glad I found Rebel!

Hobbies: Going to concerts with my son

What advice do you have for people just getting started? The first step through the door is hardest.  Break your goals up into small manageable ones and remember that everyone has a bad day, just shake it off and get back up!

Biggest fitness accomplishment this far: Losing 100 pounds

Future fitness goals: Run the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon

Future personal goals: Do a pull up without a band

What is something we don’t know about you? I collect keychains

Best workout song or music: Metal especially Disturbed, Korn and Shinedown

Go to junk food: SmartPop White Cheddar

Favorite movie or TV show: Movie:  The Other Guys  TV Show:  Any baking competition and Ninja Warrior
