From the owner
Come join me. I like my music loud, I like to have fun and get rowdy during workouts. I love having a community of all fitness levels in a class because it brings people together and proves that fitness is for everyone. It does not matter what level you are at or if you haven't worked out in years. Come to the gym and let’s figure it out together! I don't believe working out should be a chore so I try to make it as fun as I can while taking you outside of your comfort zone. Before you know it, the hour has ended, and by then, you trained harder than you would on your own while having fun doing it and probably made a new friend!
The first class is FREE! How can you say no to that? Worst case scenario, you gave yourself the chance to learn something new and got a sweat in! Be a rebel and step outside of your comfort zone!!
MIND. BODY. SPIRIT.
Stephanie believes good health is more than fitness. In order to reach your FULL potential in life, one must maintain good health in a variety of aspects including physical, mental, and spiritual health. When you sign up for one of her classes, she will make sure to design a training routine that speaks to:
Find a routine that you will WANT to stick with long-term! Fitness is a journey , not a quick fix so you have to find something that will inspire and excite you to maintain that healthy lifestyle.
You can be in great physical health, but what good is it if you are depressed, stressed, or lacking motivation/energy? All of which play a role in your physical health as well.
Stephanie believes it is important to pay attention to your stress management, sleep, emotions, and learning how to manage these areas in a healthy and effective manner.
Let's face it. Life gets tough. We can be in great shape, have a strong mind, but what happens when things take a turn? Do you have faith or do you feel hopeless and let the devil takeover? We all need someone to lean on, a support system, a community to lift up our spirit when we are down, to push us forward, and sustain us when we may not find the strength.
Stephanie is HUGE on having faith over fear, staying in the light verse the darkness, and believes GREAT things happen when you step outside your comfort zone.
The results from training at Rebel Strength and Fitness is more than just fitness. You will find ways to create healthy habits that will significantly improve your overall wellness so that you can reach your FULL potential . The healthy lifestype is adopted and for that, Stephanie is rich of happiness, and so are you!
Why the Thunderbird?
The meaning behind the Thunderbird logo is something very important to me and RS&F. I am an enrolled member of the Chippewa of the Thames First Nation. The majority of Southwestern Ontario is our modern traditional territory. We are a forward thinking nation with a strong grasp of our traditional values. Our symbol represents the Thunderbird, which originally is an eagle. This symbol evolved during the early days when the job of the eagle was to take messages from our people and deliver it to the “other side,” or to “spirits” and back. In order to do so, the eagle had to travel around the sun, which required strength and power. When doing so, the eagle transformed into a Thunderbird to get to the other side. Therefore, the Thunderbird represents strength and power; I use it as a symbol in my gym because it can be too easy to let our minds stop us from reaching our goals. It requires strength and power to transform to the other side, just like the Thunderbird
